                                                            Spring is Coming!


Hello! And yes it has been a while since we have talked.....
       There is so much going on in the coming weeks, I wanted to get this out to you before much more time passes. I have been negligent in writing these blogs but  nevertheless I have been thinking of all of you.

• April 1st through April 15,  Montene, the  bear mascot of WOW is coming to Columbus and is being hosted by Buckeye State Lady Riders. It would be nice to have most everyone in a picture of that crazy Bear and a famous Columbus landscape . More on that very soon!
• March 15th, (yes this weekend) is the deadline for submission of the 2013 Ride-In T-Shirt and/or pin design. Please check national's web site for details. I know lots of you have hidden talents that could shine designing a t-shirt for our national ride in.
• Nominations for Outstanding member of the Year,  Chapter Director of the Year and State Ambassador of the year are now being accepted. Please check the WOW website. (hint, hint Christine has done a Super Fabulous job for all of us locally and at the national level). Please give her a vote of recognition and support! I endorse her!
• The Ride-In this year in Billings MT is in need of volunteers. July 9, 10, &11.
• More ride- in info: Hotel reservations have opened up for all of you long distance travelers who plan on making the trip.
• Billings Convention Center: 406-248-7151.
• Pictures are needed for the new WOW website, email your pics in j peg format to technology@womenonwheels.org

International Female Ride Day is May 3, 2013. I think Cathy B and Carol F are planning a dinner ride so we can get a picture of our club to send to national. Please put this date on your calendar so we can have a great turn out.
